In this project (group project), we got a task from Aftenposten to make a prototype to an app to make young adults read more news from Aftenposten. We did a lot of research on what other similar news apps targeting young adults had done and read a report around the topic as well as doing a survey with the target group. We concluded with that young adults want the news fast, preferably a summary, and that it should be either very cheap or free. From the research we got, we made an app that focused on keep the news articles short and giving the users the opportunity to use the app either by paying or for free, but then with ads. On the app, it is possible to choose which topics you want to get news articles about and it's also possible to save news you want to read about later. One of the killer features on the app, is that your able to do a news quiz after reading the summary and have the opportunity to win a paid news article free of choice for free. We made this to make it more engaging to read through the news and also make it more entertaining for the users.
